I just got it for my son and was wanting to know what the max all terrain tire size is, and are any mods I need to do for performance, or maintinance I should do, and any other helpful info would be great. Thanks.
I've always kept my stock, so I can't really help with the tire size. You could ask on the High Lifters forums, those guys are all about big tires over there.
One thing to watch on the 300 is the rear axle bearings. As soon as you see them starting to get bad, replace them as soon as possible, or it will wear your ring and pinion gears.
i run 25x11 zillas, with a 25. over kit, valve job, jets and a pipe,i borrow my buddys outlaws every now and then,it turns them like no tomorrow, just got the zillas the other day too.
I would change the oil and all the diff oil to. the next thing would be to clean or replace the air filter with a uni filter. then i would check and adjust the valves.
the next thing would be is to clean the carb and check for leaks and cracked lines. this is all good ideas..
hops this helps..
