Hi all,
A friend has a trx250x that someone tried to steal many years ago. They ripped off the key switch and twisted the wires together but it also had a safety kill switch so they didn't get anywhere. The machine has not run since.
Looking at a wiring diagram it would appear that the key only adds or removes a ground?
If that is the case then those 2 wires should be open for it to run, or I'm I wrong? This is the model w/o electric start (no battery).
Also it would appear that you need a special socket for the spark plug. Thin wall of some size, is it 18 mm or 19 mm?
Thanks
