F mark lines up with mark on case and valves are loose.

If I move up to line up the T mark, the valves get tighter.

This is all at TDC.

Can I adjust valves on the T or do I have a different issue??

At my wits end on this one..starts up..idles not too bad for 5-10 mins
And just up and dies almost instant, more like spark than fuel..
Tested everything that I can read about..Aargh

if fuel ?, start at the fuel tank, work your way to the carb. if spark ?, then start testing the electrical system. MAKE SURE YOUR FUEL TANK IS VENTING ?, if it's not venting ?, it's starving for fuel from the tank to the carb.

If you think it's spark but unsure connect a timing light up to it, if spark stops so will timing light. Run engine at medium revs so when it cuts out you have a few revolutions to check if not firing.
