I am really in need for some help. I went out today to get my atv out and it will not start. Tried over and over again and nothing. I got upset and sprayed some carb cleaner in the air filter and kicked it and it fired and then stalled. I am not sure if my choke is working or what. It would not stay running even after I sprayed it over and over. Any ideas how to add gas to the carb without using the tank to see if I have a gas flow problem or is it time for a replacement carb? I have a inline fuel filter and it is clean. I called a few atv salvage yards and they want 125 for a used carb. Thanks again

yes but the float needle may be stuck. I would suggest removing the carb and get to a clean work area disassemble it and thuroughly cleaning every part.

Its the 250 fourtrax utility model. How would you check the float? As for the rebuild kit is that just new jets and gaskets? Thanks again guys for the help
Every thing you will need to replace the jets , seals , gaskets ect it doesn't come with a new float. It may jar the float loose when you remove it. So while you got it off I would go ahead and rebuild.
