Does anyone know what years of spindles will fit my 87 250x? I broke the fron right and need to replace it and i'm haveing problems finding any from an 87

Welcome to the forums. I would say all years of the 250X are the same and probably even the 300EX.

Thats what i thought but someone told me that the 87 has to have an 87 spindle. So i thought i'd do some more asking around before i wasted my money on one that doesn't fit

Moose or Billy might be able to tell you. They both know a lot about the 250X.

I just went to Motorcycle Parts, Motorcycle Accessories ? BikeBandit.com and looked up the spindle for the '87 and the '88 model and the part numbers are the same for both models, so I would say that all models are the same.

I went back and checked again and the '91 and '92 are the same part number as the '87 and '88, so they're all the same according to Bike Bandit.Com.

I just checked bikebandit aswell and i found the 87-88 numbers different then the 91-92 numbers

Yeah, you're right. I just went back and looked again and the last numbers are different. Sorry about that, I looked too quick. I was in a hurry when I looked. The '87 and '88 are the same, though. I wonder what's different about the '91 and '92?

Ya, not to sure but thats exactly what im wondering cause all i can find is spindles from 92 and newer

I noticed that some of the other listings on Ebay said that the spindles would fit all years of the 250X and all years of the 300EX. They might be wrong, though.

I got a set if you can't get anything. the hubs are different on the 87 they are 4/110 instead of 4/144 but I have a 87 rolling chassis if you need the hubs and spindles.
