Looking into brake upgrades for the old 86 trx 350. I see someone on here posted back in 2011 about fitting disc brakes to the front and I would love to do that, but all the kits I can find say they wont fit. Just trying to confirm any details on fitment and differences in models.

Awesome thanks for that post. After looking at a bunch of pics I dont see why it wouldn't work with minor modifications, and that post seems to confirm it. I'm okay with spacing calipers etc. I can spec out the difference and have some custom spacer milled from a friend. Thanks for the post tag there.

I’d like to see a complete build for disk brakes on these models.

Wouldn’t do it for mine I don’t think, but some owners of these don’t have front brakes on them. Cool upgrade.

If you do end up doing this please take some pics when you do it and let us know what you had to do to make it work.

I have a couple of these old machines and will eventually try doing this disc conversion. Be nice to have some guidance.
