hey i just picked up a 1986 trx 70 the quad ran fine. then turned off for a second and tryed to start and no spark tryed plug, ohm tested coil and kill switch, moved and cleaned ground and have no luck does anyone have a way to get the magneto/generator off without the puller? and any other tips on what it could be thanks

Welcome to the Forums! I had a simular issue with an 86 TRX70 a few weeks ago, Since these little rascals do not have suspension everything gest jarred alot. unplg the CDI check the wires in the harness plug and make sure they are all seated properly then plug it back in. also even thou you OHMd out the kill switch I would wiggle it back and forth while you are checking for spark, just to double check.

I agree with Moose. About the magneta wheel, I wouldn't try to pull it without a puller. It's too easy to break the magnets.
