Just wondering if anyone has done this or is it just a bad idea ready........ ok if I put a set of rear wheels on the front of my fourtrax and a set of spacers to make my rear wheels stick out a little wider to match the new front wheels, would this change how the machine turns, would the ride be better or worse I have a parts quad that I will restore someday and it has a set of stock rear wheels with bad tires so before I go through the trouble of putting tires on these wheels I wanted to see if this would make a difference with anything at all:smile

nope, it will still be hard to turn, these models are a pain to turn to start with !..lol. will it look funny as all get out ?..sure !..but you only have one person to please...YOU !. your better off just putting new tires on it, I know that is what I would do :).

I ran rears on the front of my 300 for months before I bought spacers, made it a little harder to steer as the tyres were wider, other than that it rode and handled fine. I didn’t think it looked that bad but then I’m not overly fussy about things like that, it serves a purpose and that was that.

thanks guys the reason I was asking my back is not the greatest so I wasn't sure if doing this would help it steer a little better, because I know if I ride it a lot my back may not handle it real well, but its worth it the thing is fun to ride on
This is one of my first 4 wheel atvs I have always had 3 wheelers

i have back issues as well, you might think about bumping air pressure up JUST on the front tires i bumped my fronts up (fourtrax300 fwd) that's helped my back issues.
