my 86 fourtrax 250 is my project i will be using it for trales and camping and for fun.is there any tips on rebilding it restoring it any coments welcome.

Use quality parts. Make sure you get a manual for the quad to make sure you meet all your torqs and specs on other things. Replace timing chain and tentioner and your oil pump aswell. Take your time to do it right and you should be satisfied with the work.
