Please help!! I have a 86 trx 250 "utility style" that runs rough at really low speed, but runs excellent when accelerating. Also the spark plug gets a coating of what looks like dry black carbon dust, and can get hard to start if not cleaned occasionally. It can be removed very easily with a soft brush. Has anyone else come across this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Eric

Welcome to the forums. It sounds like your ready for a good carb cleaning and rebuild kit. The slow jet is partailly stopped up causing your quad to run riche than normal.
