well....today i was in the garage and i was thinking there has to be a sealed beam head light that will fit my atv. so i went down to the auto parts store and there was one that looked like the part.. so i got it and sure thing it fits great and it looks so good. its a bit brighter then the factory one and its a 50 watt.
the factory one is 45 watt. so i had a bit of wiring to do. and now it works great and the high beam and low beam works and i replaced the tail light bulbs and now the tail lights work....can't wate to ride it in the dark!!!!!!!!

yeah..i put some LED's for my back up..lol..i got tired of not being able to back up..and not see what or where i was going..the tail lights on mine weren't bright enough to shine any light...so i put some LED's for back up lights.

yes..when i brought it home...i stripped it down to the bare frame ( a few pic of it when i got it...sorry if they are to small to see..camera settings were off..lol. )..i spray painted every part on it..from the frame up to every last detail..it took me about 6 months to finish it..it was in bad shape when i got it..and it took me that long just to locate parts for it...the easy thing about my bike..it's like a timex watch..takes the lick'n..and keeps on tick'n...the hard part about her..was finding parts !!!..they are getting very rare to find good working parts..as most of them are not being made any more...as for wiring your back up lights to come on..when you go into reverse..after a few tries..i finally gave up ( the nuetral and reverse wires are hot at all times until you go in to them..soo..i found this out to be a problem..and just wired me a rocker switch with a fuse..and when i want to see behind me..i just flip the switch..other than that..it works great !!!..the lights i added can be angled down or up..they swivle..not a bad buy for 20 something bucks..lol.. anyway..just a few pic's from start to finish..she turned out very nice !..again..sorry for the small pic's on some of them ( stupid camera ! )..lol

as for wiring your back up lights to come on..when you go into reverse..after a few tries..i finally gave up ( the nuetral and reverse wires are hot at all times until you go in to them..soo..i found this out to be a problem..and just wired me a rocker switch with a fuse..and when i want to see behind me..i just flip the switch
You could have run the backup lights off a relay and spliced into the hot wire going to the reverse light to switch the relay.

tired that..it never worked..lol.and don't tell me how to wire atv's..lmfaooo..no..for real..tried everything..for some reason..the reverse wires that go into the reverse sensor..is always hot..until you go into reverse..then it goes dead..well..i thought..ok..i'll wire the nuetral up..because it's not hot..wrong again..it was hot..until it goes out of neutral..then it goes dead..sooooooo..i thought..okkkkkk..i'll wire it off the reverse light on the dash panel..nope..that didn't work either...and yes..i had it wired with a relay..no go jo !..lol..soooooo..i wound up just putting a rocker switch inline from the battery to the lights..works perfect..and yes..there is a fuse inline..lol...but..thanks for the info...even after i tried it..and it never would work..i guess i kinda got tired of chasing the ghost..and just did it the easy way..lol.

thanks for the comment's ivan-ator..took me alot of hours to bring her back to life. if you add a winch....you will need to make your own mounting plate for it..and trim back the front fender in order for it to mount under the front fender..i had put an old warn 2000 lb on my old trx250..it took some fabing..but it turned out nice...they dont make the old style 2000 lb winches anymore..but you may luck out and find one on ebay ??..who knows..added..the 4x4 is sweet..kinda hard to turn..as you already probally know..they don't drive like a cadilac !..lol..other than that..it goes where i need it to !..lol.

yea it is very easy just put it in like a stock headlight and make the wire harines fit the new headlight its just having to cut off the old harnes and use spade concters for the new headlight...

good luck
