it seams like it takes little more throtle then normal to get the atv to move.
what can i do to check what kind of shape the clutch is in?????

You can take the friction discs out and measure them and the springs with calipers according to the specs in the repair manual and you can measure the springs and the thickness of the linings on the centrifugal clutch shoes and the diameter of the drum.

But when I notice the clutch slipping, I always just go ahead and replace them. I never measure them myself.
