I only stated what I did, because you posted it as a owners manual ?, when it is a service manual, no wrong doing on the postRight: The guy that I got this OLD 86 fourtrax from still had the Original Owners manual also. I try to save the OEM's.this is a SERVICE MANUAL, NOT A OWNERS MANUAL..LOL. bought mine many moons ago online from ebay. You Fourtrax Original owners might want to snap up this manual for $20. When all else fails read the owners manual.:wink
my service manual is just like this one, cept back then when I bought it ?, it was like 60 bucks from ebay..lol.Right: I was looking for a OEM type printed service manual awhile back and they were few and far between and pricy.I only stated what I did, because you posted it as a owners manual ?, when it is a service manual, no wrong doing on the postRight: The guy that I got this OLD 86 fourtrax from still had the Original Owners manual also. The generic type SERVICE manual just barely do get inside the ballpark and some cost's as much or more than a OEM Service manual.
I've had real good luck finding HELMS Service manuals on flea bay at a reasonable price for old Vec's. Helms is one of the best and actually goes by the Vin numbers to match the SERVICE manuals to the vec.
VIN numbers using Helms guide get's the correct manual. Some vec's for example may actually use later model parts and vice versa, but the vin number gets the correct SERVICE data and parts using Helms.
