Can anyone post pics of where the VIN would be on an 86 200sx. I found one for sale, but I want to run the VIN to make sure it's not stolen. Only problem is I can't find it, although the sticker labels are there. It didn't appear to be on the down tube, the underside of the frame, or between the front suspension.

The vin is behind the front bumper on the top frame crossbar

i know its old post but someone can used this info when looking for it its behind left rear wheel on frame near the shock its a plate welded to the frame can been seen in pic here
