First timer here. I.bought an atc70 for my grandson. Wont fire new plug. Tested plug with my 86 350 and it fires. Points and all look new. Had 4 rust spots on flywheel where the two parts wrapped in copper wire were touchin it i guess. Also put new coil on it. Lights up test light but wont fire plug. Need help, that boy wantn to ride his bike. Thanx

If it has a points set that may be the problem? Clean them and re-gap them... and if it still has no spark I'd check out the ignition switch, the kill switch and the neutral light circuit. You can find a copy of the factory service manual HERE to aid you in troubleshooting it.
