I'm thinking about dropping a tooth on my front sprocket to give me some more bottom end. Its got plenty of top end and i've been doing alot of pit riding so i wanna little more like pull the tigger and go power. What's your experience with this?

That will for sure give you some extra grunt down low for that type of riding. I've thought about trying it for some of the trails I ride but have'nt gotten around to it yet.

I have a 250x and i replaced the front sproket I went from a 14 tooth to a 12tooth and It was a totally diffrent quad. It had alot more snap but it killed the top end.

I just did the swap. I changed my front sprocket from a 14t to a 12t and it made a huge difference. Now it has soo much more bottom end its crazy. I can crawl over stuff in 1st gear with no gas at all. I love it. Pulls the front tires in ever gear now with no clutch
