buddy has a 06 with about 2500 miles runs good when cold but after it warms up it acts like a carburated motor with trash in the jet like its not getting enough gas or the cdi is loosing power it will idle fine but falls on face after it has warmed up when u try to give it gas any clues tried blowing injector out put new spark plug in took off fuel pump took out of canister cleaned strainer and canister

not enough air? need new air filter, or it needs the back lifted so that the tires can ree spin and run it out, thats what we have to do with some of ours when it dose that

pull the lifters out and inspect them for wear, take flashight and look at cam lobes. cant count how many i have seen that have worn out. if thats the case, replace cam and lifters, make sure to keep oil changed regularly, and NEVER start it up and drive it or rev it up untill it has ran for atleast 30-45 seconds.

sounds like the bike's choke system is messing up..and for the c.d.i loosing power..they don't lose power..they either work..or they don't.

sounds like the bike's choke system is messing up..and for the c.d.i loosing power..they don't lose power..they either work..or they don't.
The choke system would be the IAC valve since it's fuel injected.

Wouldn't this give you the same problem regardless of engine temp or ride time???? It would seem that performance would be affected rather it is cold or hot.

Rincon 680 dies

my 2007 680 Rincon is doing the same thing, have tracked it to the fan not working all the time, engine is over heating, had it kicking in good last night, will post more when I get it back together and try it on the trail, so far, it looks like either the fan connector or the PCM connector or the temperature sensor connector
