Can i buy a 2wd rear differential and it work on my 4 wd rancher same year just 2wd and 4wd

I say look up part numbers, as I honestly don';t know if gearing is the same in 2x4's as 4x4's
as you need them to match up with your front gearing to NOT cause you drive line issue's

Not sure how to find out habe not bought the parts four wheeler yet waiting to find out if its ok to use the rear end surely someone knows lol

go to any honda parts site (Rocky MT ATV , or the likes)and look up parts, for BOTH atv';s (need to know yr and model of each rear end, your's and possible donor's), IF part numbers are the same, then YES it will work
if NOT??
then your taking the word of a stranger to BUY things, and possibly end up with more issue's soon?

Both are same year just gotta get part numbers
