Doing the 450 Swingarm on my 06 500 (this is the one I'm having to swap do a different frame after the pivot bolt threads were destroyed)

I see some people say to pull the swingarm over using the bolts, some say to cut the swingarm, bend it to the side, then weld it, and I though I saw someone who said to use the right tube off of a 450 Foreman and it would bolt right up.

Anyone know if the right tube for a 450 is plug and play? I can get one of those cheap.

In case someone wants to do this in the future....I took the right axle tube off my 500 rear end, replaced it with an 02-04 450 right side axle tube, and the whole rear end bolted up to the 450 swingarm without any cutting/welding/bending.

So, used a 450 swingarm and driveshaft, and a 450 right axle tube, and you have a bolt on stretch for an 05-11 Foreman.

Getting 28" Mudbugs to run on this one. Gonna be awhile before I can pony up the cash for them though......

Finished getting this bike together yesterday. Finished pics are attached.

I thought it would ride better with the longer wheelbase, but I think the stretch negates the better ride the Perfex gave me, which relocated the lower shock mounts forward, making the shock travel straight up and down. With the stretch, it moved the lower shock mounts back again, probably closer to their original angle. It would probably make a stock machine or non perfex machine ride better.

Took it to the duck hole yesterday. Pulled great and was really happy with the 28" Mudbugs. No rubbing with the stretch even though the floorboards are untrimmed.
