Can someone help and tell me what this is and why it’s leaking oil? It’s located right below oil stick. Looks like a wrench end. It moves in and out when you push on it.

Looks like you have a 450es and that is the emergency shifter shaft and the seal is leaking

Is this easy to replace?

Just curious if it's a bigger issue or sometimes these just wear out.

#26 in the pic below is the seal , it only cost $3 ------- I never tried it before , but would think you could pry the seal out and drive the new seal in , that is if the shaft doesn't have a seal groove cut into it , I see something shine in your pic right where the seal rides ??? hope that your shaft is ok as I seen while looking that both the ES and FM shift shafts are both no longer available
