The battery is dead, hooked booster cables to battery, the quad turns over with the key off. Turn the key on, quad doesn't start but still turns over. Help!

Sounds like the solenoid is bad, stuck in the on position. Find it and smack it with a screw driver or hammer and see if it will stop turning over when you have the jumper cables hooked up. If it does, then replace it.

As for not starting, you can cross that bridge once you fix the first problem.

Agree ^^^^ solenoid sounds like its stuck? Unless we are miss reading. when you say it turns over with the key off does it do it on it's own or do you hit the starter button? I'm assuming on it's own.

That's sort of what I was thinking, thanks. Will head out and bash it as soon as coffee is done. And yes, it is turning over on it's own.
