First post on these forums, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this thread (couldn't find a thread on this topic through the search feature), but here it is...
A friend of mine has an '05 400EX and I just picked up a '00 400EX. Both have been bored to 440 and both blow head gaskets like it's going out of style. Is this a known problem with 440 kits in 400s? Is there a good fix for it? Would it be better just to rebuild it as a 400?

from what i have heard, you have to get different head studs, stronger ones.

Blowfish is correct You need to change the head bolts. Welcome to the forums.

Thanks guys! Any idea where would be a good place to get them? I'm not really too sure what head bolts I would need to get.
