Yes, this is similar to my 19. I'm wondering if mine just came with a bad battery. I'm going to try an auto store if they have a tester that will test atv/motorcycle batteries. Or take just the battery back to the dealer (50 miles each way).

What I haven't yet found out is how long the battery holds up when just sitting. On my Honda car and BMW motorcycle the battery will hold enough to start for about 4 to 6 weeks. On the car I think I went 2 months and it started up. But that also means that the fuel pressure is staying up that long too. A slight leak or looseness in the fuel lines will let the pressure down, which then means the pump has to run a bit before the pressure gets back up to start the engine.

I know my 19 sat for 6 months thru' the winter before it was sold. It was made in August or September of 18 and I bought it April of 19. But the battery should not have gone bad, just lost it's charge.

My 16 rancher is on the original battery, I do keep it plugged in to a tender. Only use for deer season. Best I got for you.

i got my 2000es in 2008.. the battery lasted at least till i joined here, 2016, maybe a bit longer. this battery is not made any more, so if ya got to search, this is the place.. mine was a wet cell. things have changed, since then.. it's a new world, and things have changed. made in china, has not.. as long as people will buy it, made in china, they will sell it. B&B, said it best. a sucker is born every day. not reffering to you, but all of us..
