I have a question that I'm hoping to get an answer for. I have an '09 420AT and I put a set of factory Rincon rims along with a set of new Bighorns on my bike. The only fitment problem is the front wheel studs are shorter than the rears. I can still see 2 of the threads inside the nut. My question is, did anyone out there ever count the number of threads engaged on a set of aftermarket rims with cap nuts. The NHRA states that you need an engagement equal to the diameter of the stud. For a M10 x 1.25 stud that means 8 full threads engaged. I have nine. Good enough for them, good enough for me?
