Also a few other things to think about before filling with grease...
Are people filling them to much when they refill them after they drain them?
I noticed if I filled mine with 80w90 it would take 6-9 ounces before it would start to come out of the check bolt hole. I figured this was fine, after looking in the manual the rear diff only takes 2.5 ounces.

Another idea would be a bigger vent tube...?

Just trying to get something figured out because I like being able to go 50-55 mph on the wide open snowmobile trails up here as well as getting into some pretty deep mud (all on the same ride). Bringing a quart of oil and changing diff fluid whenever I go into the mud does seem like to much work. It is doable if I have to.
