:stupid:
If you're going to use it in cold weather, do not get a carbed model...definitely go with EFI, it'll start so much easier and run a lot smoother.
I just bought a Rancher AT (TRX420FA) a couple weeks ago for the same purpose (primarily hunting, but also snow removal and recreational). I added a Warn RT25 winch (2500 lb) and it has spent the last two weekends in the woods hanging tree stands. I've used it to drag logs out of the way and to pull down trees and limbs to clear shooting lanes and it has so far had more than enough power...I did use a bow saw to cut part of the way through some of the larger (6"-8" diameter) trees before pulling them over. Once they were down, it dragged them without any problems. I also used it to pull my 4x7 trailer loaded with hang-on tree stands, climbing sticks, ladder stands, tools, and miscellaneous stuff (including my father-in-law). This is the same trailer I pull with my truck to haul my ATV...when I get out to the woods, I unload the ATV, take the trailer off the truck and put it on the ATV, take my stuff out of the back of my truck, put it on the trailer, and head to my treestand locations.
