Recently purchased an 2013 TRX 400X, I'm looking for Graphics kits, wheels and Tires and front and rear grab bars. Have found some items for sale but not much selection, is there something I'm missing or have they not came out with stuff for these yet?

Front bumper is any year 400ex or 450r. Rear grab bar is extremely complicated. Because the 400ex has a subframe built into the grab bar. If you really really want one get ahold of mud motorsports. I just sent out my subframe to be modified to accept a 04-05 450r grab bar. The wheels and tires are kinda any honda sport quad rims. 4x110 bolt pattern rear 3+5 offset. 4x144 front 4+1 offset. Hyper, Dwt, ITP, goldspeed, or Alba are the ones i know well. Graphics kits come off ebay is about the only place anymore. AMR makes them. I got mine at moto1works i think its called. I can check on that though. Welcome to the forums!

Ya the rear grab bar has be sort of a "custom" thing.

The grab bar is part of the frame on the 400EX.

When I picked mine up, the rear grab bar had been cut off, and 2 metal tabs were welded on in order to bolt on an aftermarket grab bar.

The pics below show what I mean.

The red line is where the original grab bar/frame was, and the yellow shows where the tabs were welded on for mounting an aftermarket one.

There's another pic of it up close.

As for graphics, why not design your own? With vehicle wraps etc being so readily available now dedicated graphics sets seem old hat to me.
If you have Adobe Photoshop then graphics are pretty much at your disposal, in the UK printers charge around £15 per square metre on wrapping vinyls.

Here is what im having mud motorsports do for mine. Im gunna put the hmf 04-05 450r drop style grab bar on it when its done. They are also powder coating it white while they are at it.

On horses we have a strap around the neck, from saddle to breast plate, known as a holy s**t strap...!!

This looks like the ATV equivalent...?! If all else fails, grab the bar/strap and hope for the best haha.

Good mod though, looks smart :)

Not trying to thread jack here. But the grab bar isnt the one im going with. That is for xc racers to help get a good low grab point to get out of the mud lol. Im going with a way cleaner looking one with less if a monkeybars style haha. Thanks though! I cant wait to get it installed i will take plenty of pictures.

Just wrap your rear tires with snowmobile belts.
Not a bad idea at all!

Looks like a blast haha.

I'm planning on studding the tires that came on my bike when I first bought it, and I have 2 old front snowmobile skis that I want to make a mount/bracket for so I can mount them to my front wheels without having to take them off.

I'll check the classifieds and see if anyone is selling an old track from a sled.

There are ton's of sleds in my area so I'm sure I could find something pretty easily, and more important, cheap!

I still wouldn't mind lowering the grab bar so I can use my legs to lift the quad, and not just my arms and back (one more reason to wish I was taller lol)

Thanks for the idea!
