Yeah, I could tell they were extremely loud in the video of the 400EX.

I like them quiet. I wish they didn't even make noise at all. I mostly ride utility ATVs, though. Maybe I need to convert mine to an electric motor. LOL.

But could you imagine a sport quad that didn't make any sound at all. That just wouldn't be right, would it?

Stock machines sound like high powered sewing machines...

They just passed a law in Colorado that any quad or bike made before 2001 must be no louder than 98db, any machine newer than 2001 cannot be over 96db. Let's hope I don't get tested
