Anyone have any feedback with cfm oil tanks? I ride the dunes and gas pinned most of the time. Anything to help cool the engine would be great.

I have one on my 400ex and it's great!

Let's you put more oil in so it can sit in the tank longer to cool down.

If i was to get one i would be getting the one with holes through it and that you can use your stock oil screen that screws into the bottom bung. First reason is the one with holes uses not much more oil then your stock one. Which means it wont kill you when doing oil changes at 9+ dollars a quart of oil.(I use amsoil so 11+). And the holes would make it cool better then the one without that uses 2 more quarts then your factory tank. And i dont like the idea of getting rid of the stock oil screen at the bottom of the tank. I feel like the more places to catch things in your oil system the better. My .02

Not sure as it came with the bike, but I agree with Slammed about getting one with holes, and one you can use the screen with.

Mine doesn't have holes, but it's definitely an upgrade over the stock can and will keep oil cooler for longer.

I actually like the idea of holding more oil than stock since the oil is cycled through the engine less, allowing more time for cooling, and more time between oil changes. My .02
