400ex not turning off

I just bought a 2001 400ex with some electrical issues. I fixed all the issues but one. It used to turn off by kill switch or turning off the ignition switch but the buttons didn’t turn the bike on so I re wired the wires to the solenoid to work. Ow when the bike is on it dosent turn off. Ignition switch dosent work. I cleaned the grounds and still dosent turn off. Also put a new diode and new ignition switch on. And wired correctly. I don’t know what the problem is.
