So the anticipation is over and i got my subframe back from Mud Motorsports. I have to give a big thanks to Josh. If anyone wants to have this done give them a call. His turnaround time is un-believeable and his customer service is great. His prices are also very reasonable. I have had them do my hump seat cover and he just did one for my brothers kfx450 also. He cuts off the factory grab bar and welds on tabs that make it fit a 04-05 trx450 grab bar. I went with a hmf grab bar to match my front bumper. But they also sell there own custom grab bars and it pretty much looks like from there facebook pictures atleast that they can do about anything you ask of them.

75 bucks for him to do the grab bar mod. And 50 bucks for powder coating. Luckily it was one state over from me in indiana though because shipping was 15 bucks. It would be alot worse from further away.

I have red plastic. I plan on next year doing the whole frame in white. Thats why i did the subframe that color. But that will be next winters project. Thanks man! I love the way it turned out. The lower lift point will help my back when i get stuck to. I couldnt complain one bit with his price and quality of work. I have under 200 bucks in the whole thing with the hmf grab bar and everything. I got that on a black friday sale for 49.99 off the hmf website. They are normally 85.00.

I went with elka stage 3 shocks all the way around. Long travel in front and a gt thunder xc link in rear. That the fcr and the subframe at a grand total of around 1500 dollars. Give or take a few hundred...wink wink lol

Haha wink wink.... how do you like those Elka Stage 3 shocks? I've heard of them but I've never ridden a bike that had them... I run the race tech shocks and absolutely love them... its like riding on a big, loud, fast cloud

I have no idea. Havent ridden on them yet. I had tcs standard travel re-valved by jet for last year and wanted that extra travel so went with the lt setup. I will give a review on them after i get to put them through there paces.

No i went with xc setup. I do alot more woods riding. With an occasional mx track here and there. I did the whole deal through ishock. They took all my info and built them just as i needed them. Real good guys there at ishock also. Answered all my questions and more and i wont lie i tend to over analyze so i ask alot of questions lol.

Yeah 3 times the amount of money removed from my bank account lol. I dont honestly think the brand matters near as much as the proper extended and compressed length and proper valving for weight. These elkas are the exact geometry setup for my quad and my riding style. They are quad rate in the front which i have personally never seen before in my life time. We will see how they compare to the tcs i had last season. Gunna be hard to beat as they were absolutely awesome. I could push 3rd and 4th gear through some really really rough trails with confidence. The ccp helped with that alot also but those tcs revalves had a huge part in it aswell.
