Hey i'm new here. Just bought a 400ex to fix up the other day, and its got a couple electrical issues. When the key and kill switch are on, none of the switches at the bars do anything. No lights, no cranking, no neutral light. But i can jump the solenoid to get it to crank. I haven't tried starting it because it has a fresh top end, piston, head, valves, cam, everything and i don't really want to screw it up.. I also know that it is missing the wire for the neutral safety switch and its got a 30amp fuse instead of a 15, so could those be the issue?
Also, anybody know what jetting i should have for a 440 big bore, stage 2 hotcam with pro circuit ti4 muffler?

Also, the clutch does not work. I’ve adjusted it as much as I can. When it’s in gear and I pull the clutch, it doesn’t roll like it should. Any suggestions?

I looked at a wiring diagram, and there is the big lead from the battery doing to one terminal, and on the other terminal has the wire to the starter, plus another smaller wire. Should the smaller one be on the terminal that goes to the battery?
