would this make a 250 stance a little wider?would it bolt up with the exception of drilling mounting bolt holes larger for the shocks and a arms?

Or you could save some money and make your own widening kit.

now if the 400ex a-arms bolt up to a 300 they should bolt up to a 250ex cuz a 300 is identical in the front

No the 300EX and the 250X are the same Jon, the 250EX is the same as the Recon.

I did some research on those Diamond J kits and I would recommend against using them if you ride your bike hard or jump. Most who used them and ran their bike hard bent the mounts. I also read that moving the a arm mounting points further away from the centerline of your bike decreases stability. Many aftermarket frames, and the new Kawi's have moved the mounts for the a arms closer together.

This is all my opinion that I gathered from my research, I am not bashing the company or the product in anyway.

They say right on there sight that it was given extreme testing on a atv mx track and jumped higher than most people would and they had no problems.

What do you mean stability? They stability of the quad should be much greater if combined with a wider rear axle.

Yeah it was.Now I understand what your saying.I think thats why my quad handles so crappy.I really need to buy my 250x a arms so I can build my new ones.

Wider is better isn't always the case, I wouldn't have believed it either until I read that write up. Even flipping your front rims for that extra inch is a bad idea according to this guys math. Are you currently running one of those kits?

Yeah but It's a copy version.I made it.All the same metal and that. But I plan on taking a stock set of a arms and adding to them with bracing inside of the existing tubes ofcourse. That way it's wider and the original pivot's are retained.
