I just bought a 330 kit for my 300 and was wondering if anyone has made a 400ex exhaust work? I have a buddy that owns a muffler shop, so making the head pipe would be easy. Since the I am looking for flow would the 400 be a little bigger? I can find all kinds of used cheap 400 mufflers but the 300 , not so many. Does anyone know if the headpipe on a 400 is bigger than the 300? I bought a dg RCM for my other 300 and it is alot larger than the stock.

The head pipe on a 400 will not work. I don't see why you can't install just the slippie though. You may have to alter it just a bit.
