I need to know how to take out the stock carrier out on my 2004 honda 400ex.:icon_evil:

Break the axle lock nut loose back the lock nut off the adjuster nut to expose the lockring, pop the lock ring out of it's groove and slide to end of axle, slide the lock nuts and collar out take off wheels hubs and all, remove brake caliber, and mounting plate, will have to remove large snap ring holding the mounting plate to the carrier, take off chain and loosen the cinch bolts slide the carrier out the left side. takes about 15 to 20 min's

i gott evverything off except the actual carrier and the little plate that the caliper bolts on and is held on by a snap ring, took the snap ring, just cant seem to pull it off....

Make sure the 4 bolts across the back are really loose, put a screwdriver in the slot you adj your chain and move it back and forth and tap it out with a rubber mallettoward the sprocket side.

the bolts are out. not just loose. i cant seem to get my adjuster to move....
