I purchase a 2000 400ex for $750. It runs good, minus a few things. Gas seems to leak either from the overflow or at the nut at the bottom of the carb (PICTURE). I wasn't quite sure if the floats were sticking so I took apart the carb and reseated the needle. The floats seem to be working how they should (VIDEO). When looking at the carb, when I open the throttle all the way, the black sliding piece doesn't seem to open clear up, and I can move it more with a screwdriver. Is this how it should be? (VIDEO shows exactly what I mean) Also, it seems when I decel or let off the gas and engine brake, there is a small, what I believe a few lean pops. It has an uni filter and full yoshi system, pipe and headerpipe with a 42 pilot and 150 main. I think the pilot is fine, but need to go a little bigger on the main? Any thoughts. Thanks ahead of time...

Welcome to the forum.....The gas leaking from the overflow is a float sticking.....The lean pops you are hearing could be from your exhaust, you may need to repack it.... Also since you have a full exhaust system and a better flowing air filter...in it you can go to a bigger main jet... More air flow, more fuel, more POWER!!!
