I have a 01 400ex and i am doing the spring clean on her. i decided to clean my carb.. oops
Any way carb is now clean but when i went to put back together i believe i am missing a part. my question is is thier a rubber hose or cap that goes between the diaphram in the float bowl and the body of the carb. i thought i saw a back insert in thier it goes from the linkage to the stem on the diaphram? Am i missing this or are the carb cleaner fumes getting to me??? please help i can try to send pics if needed. I looked everywhere and i can not find it. I also can not find it on any schematics??

I hope all your cylinders are always firing..
I had a feeling it was the boot, but I didn't know for sure.
