should i get a 400ex or a LT-Z400K3 Suzuki

I would say the Z400 is a better choice for MX. but the 400EX is a great platform to build any kind of racer.

suzuki makes cheap junk i learnt from an rmz250 and an rm80. their desighns just arent up to par with honda

I would have to say Honda. Just add a few mods and you will be fast.

My answer was for an out the door mx quad. The Z will handle the EX on an MX track with equal riders.(Stock vs. stock)

i say the honda. They are amazing quality and why get a suzuki that ure gona end up spending mony on parts because it breaks down alot compared to a honda, where u can just spend ure time and money on upgrading it. The speed difference really isnt too noticeable and besides the 400ex has better acceleration from gears 1-3. On most tracks u never hit the middle or top of 5th, and the tracks i race on, i only hit 4th. I would get the honda and not spend ure time on a suzuki. What type of track r u racing on? A curvy one or a track with a bunch of straights?

The Z was aimed at trail/MX where as the EX is aimed at trail. The has better suspension out of the box and that is huge on MX
