Hi all,have a 2001 Honda fortrax 4 X 4. I'm having trouble with the clutch,it works but very sharp and grabby.tried to adjust but I can't undo the nut from the slotted bolt ,it all turns. Going to remove the front cover ,the manual says fit new gasket but Honda dealer says not required use Honda bond gasket gunk .nwhich is correct ,many thanks

You have to use a gasket. Just use the Hondabond to get it set on—couple maybe three drops. Only on one side. Cuz you might have to take it back off.

Many thanks, I've stripped the front off and no gasket. I've checked all the diagrams on the net and non show a gasket, so I've gone with Honda bond.
