Hi have a 350 trx 4 x 4 the clutch is not good. I've managed to undo, remove the adjustment nut. I can't move the stud. I thought from the threads on her it was stuck jammed in the casing . However if I lift the clutch /gear crank it moves in and out of the casing very freely. Any suggestions welcome, thank you

If it's the type I'm thinking if that stud ain't gonna back out. The normal adjustment for the shift clutch on my 300 is to turn it in until you feel resistance then back out 1/4 turn. Hold the screw while snugging the nut. This sets your free play.

Thanks, I've had the front off and the stud adjuster was threaded all the way, had to use a vice, stilsons and heat to free it, no wonder it would not turn with a screwdriver in the slot! I've adjusted as per the book, slack nut off, turn the stud anti clockwise until resistance is felt, then 1/4 in and lock the nut up.
Thanks to all
