ON A TRX420 FA (2013). The issue hit me suddenly. The gears were skipping from 2 to 4/5. Greased the reduction box. Now she decides its time to blow fuses. The fuse blows when we change gears in ESP moving up. How stiff should the shift control motor be. Should it be smooth or coarse. Please if anybody can give me advice where to start looking or what the issue is.

I'd take the shift motor apart and clean it out, and check the condition of the brushes.

You say it jumps from 2nd to 4th? Have you tried shifting with the emergency shifter to see if if shifts differently?

Wife has an 09 FA that should be the same bike. I haven't had any problems with hers since I rebuilt it.
