I'm looking on diamond j custom's website and I was wondering if anyone had any pics of before and after of either the 4.5" or the 6", or if you have a picture comparing the two. Also what shocks should I go with if I were to do this? What would bolt right up and what would take adapters, ect?

Don't buy the widening kit.They change your caster camber throught the suspension movement and it makes it feel squirly.I took this off but here you go.

Somewhere on here there is a link to an article that discusses the widening kit and goes into detail about what it does and the effects of it and it seems that it wouldn't be a very good choice. The kit moves the pivot points of the A-arms further outboard from the inner tie rod ends and it causes the plane of the A-arms and the tie rods to be further out of parallel with each other. This causes binding and bump steer and it makes your ATV steer bad.

Well, you changed my mind quick. So I guess it's 400ex a arms. I just have trouble finding them on ebay. Does anyone know who sells them? Also if I get 400ex a arms don't I also need 400ex shocks too?

You can't use the 400ex shocks without the conversion kit to my knowlege

I think you'll need the shock conversion kit.If you use your stock shocks it will just sit lower.

Oh alrighty. Lower isn't too bad. I guess a lower center of gravity wouldn't kill me all that much . But just to clarify, I would need upper and lower correct?

I'm not. But now I'm really thinking about a 400ex instead. I would much rather have too much power than can be controlled than to little that'll cost a fortune to get more

I don't see how you can't with all the people who need work. Plus you don't have to get up early! I would take that job, but I'm 16 in high school, don't see how I could work those hours into my day

I would go out and turn some in, but sadly I don't have my car right now so I'm stuck at home
