im looking to make the 300ex wider. i have seen these wheel spacers on ebay they just look like extended studs? has anyone here used them? are they safe? they are only 12.99 for both tires. i know that getting extended a arms is better but i aint got that kinda money lol. this would be my only option so was hoping someone has some good info on them? i just do trail riding and a little racing and maybe a 5 foot jump max lol i aint got the balls yet like some lol. oh ya and i only plan on going 1.5in on each side front and back tires. i figure if i go any wider they may be to weak?

A lot of people will tell you they are no good. I use them on my Rhino which weights 1200lbs and I have caught air in that. Would I use them for major jumping on a track, no. They will add a bit feedback through the handlebars.

I would go ahead and get them if it was me. I don't know if I would go a full 1.5" on each side. maybe 1" on each side. You will be amazed at how much 1" on each side will add in the way of stability.
