ive got the stem out and the two rubber boots are out. middle of the bearing just fell out. how do i get the rest of bearing out? ive been tapping on it from the bottom with no luch yet? am i missing something here or just not hitting it hard enough?

i see where the snap ring is. its broke!!?? so now i got the dremel out and im cutting the ring off its gonna take awhile. where can i get another snap ring for it? or is it really that important?

Should be able to get one at the Honda dealer. If you don't put one back in, it might work it's way back up out of there, because of the steering shaft trying to work up and down when you hit bumps and holes.

alright just got done with test ride and evrything seems perfect. took me bout an hour with the dremel to get the ring off got it all out then put in new bearing. and for the lock ring i took a key ring and was able to stretch it into a perfect circle and it snapped right in place. took it for ride and it was so much better.

ya it was all i had at the time so... seems to be working great no play at all. it worked so perfect too snapped right in lol

Yeah, that was a good ideal. If you had went to the Honda dealer you probably would have had to order it. It seems like they never have anything in stock at my local Honda dealer anymore.
