Thats a rough one! The 250ex is shaft driven and the 300ex is chain driven which would make them completely different. I have never compared them side by side but I would assume that it would not work due to the difference in drive systems.
300ex rear disc brake on a 250ex
the title says it all. is there any way to put the 300ex rear disc brake setup on the 250ex? thanks in advance.

You can still check it out. You will need to see them side by side. Compare parts and try. Is the 250ex have a hydralic rear brake or is it cable oprerated.
