So, I got this 2003 300ex. It runs and stuff but when you put it in 1st gear it tries to go. So, the clutch is not working. And if we adjust it, it doesn't work either. Do I have to replace the clutch in the engine? I'm not too sure what to do.

CLUTCH cable is not adjusted properly. has nothing to do with whats in the motor. a bad clutch wont move the machine. a clutch cable too tight with no slag will make machine creek. BUY OEM manual, READ it, Learn.

But if I adjust the cable harder or softer or when I manually push the clutch piece in, when it's in first it will not roll.
