Interesting. This is the kind of thing I need to see to get me started on my 300ex. What’s the purpose of the 400ex swing arm? Just longer?

More plush ride for the wife, and i just cant leave shit alone! I actually like the idea of the linked swingarm. Plus it is 3" longer. Im doing the 400 ex a arms as well as 450 spindles and dual piston calipers all round. I'm going to fabricate a +2 anti vibe stem and we'll see what else we can fabricate. Going to powder some parts today at my shop. Ill post up pics later today.

White epoxy spray can. Just for mock up. Everything will get powder. Small stuff I can do ,big stuff I send out. Also looking into an anodizing kit.

Not sure, 01' I think. Might be older. Doesnt really matter, there wont be much left of the old 300.I tend to radically alter stuff. I plan on 450 or new style 400 plastics.

Sounds like it’s gonna be sweet! Is that 400ex swing arm direct bolt on?

Almost. Brackets need to be fabricated to hold the linkage to the frame. The shock body and bushing need to be machined down a bit so far thats all ive found.
