Does anyone know roughly what it will cost to rebuild a 300ex all new seals and gaskets bore 40 or 60 over I can rebuild a 2 stroke but never have tried to tackle a 4 stroke figure is harder with timimg chain and all the more crap to deal with any one have some pointers or should i take it to a shop

Pm helmut he will send you a service manual for the 300EX but rebuilding the 4 stroke isn't too bad, just take your time

hope it has step by step directions i know its not like a 2 stroke but pretty sure with some help i could do it just wondering if taking it to a shop would be faster and better
