I found an LED display from a 00-06 2WD ES Rancher and wondered if it would plug and play into my 2006 Rancher 350 Manual 4WD?
no clue ..even if it did plug in..i doubt it will have the 4wd indicator to show up on the read out..this is just a guess..makes sinse to me anyway.

I believe that they are the same. Most items such as that will have all of the same indicators just some may not be using them all.
i would call a honda dealer, or look it up on a micro fich, and compare the part numbers. i did this on my 2000 trx350tm rancher when i had a bent connecting rod, i had a crank from a 2000 trx350fw ( 4x4 ) in other words..soooo..i went to my honda dealer..and asked them if the part numbers where the same..sure enough..they were..sooo i used that crank from a trx350fw in my trx350tm rancher.

Good call! i just checked and they are different part #'s. I still believe that it would function as far as the hour and odo functions, but that is just a guess.

Well, Honda says it wont work because the manual shift Rancher doesnt use the same wiring harness as the ES Ranchers. Makes perfectly good sense. Guess it's time for a Trail Tech Comp.
