I have a 08 Rancher 420 4X4 with stock wheels and tires and like to upgrade to better tires. I am also considering puttin on some after marked fancy wheels. I was wondering if 26" tires would be ok on my ATV without rubbing. Also I have a Viper 3000 winch installed which I am concerned about rubbing on bigger tires. Do you all think 26-10-12 in front and 26-12-12 on the back would work fine?

Also I was thinking about getting Swamp Lite tires. I like the way they look and have noticed that most of the guys in my hunting club have them on their ATV. What is your experience with Swamp Lite Tires?

Welcome to the site, You will be fine with 26" tires. ITP and Motosport Alloys make some pretty cool looking wheels. I don't have any experience with swamp lites.

I have 26" Zillas with 14" ITP 312's on my 08 rancher no problems with rubbing, I have the room for at least a 27".

I've got 27" zillas on an 09 AT so 26 will work just fine. Had a co-worker that had 28 or 29" swamp lites on his 07 big bear and he didn't like them said they didn't dig very good.

I have noticed alot of people here have the "Zillas" on their ATV, they must be good in the mud, but how do they handle on harder dirt roads?

They are not bad on hard pack. they ride alittle ruff at speeds below 5 mph. but smooth out above. I use them on the rocks, sand, hardpack, and of course ,mud. they work great.

I just put some 27" swamplites on mine. I like my 26" Big Horns better. They are actually the same height. No rubbing, But I have a 2" lift. I'm wanting to put a Viper winch on, but the website says that it'll rub tires. Did you have any problems?

im running 26" super swamper vampires very awesome in mud good for trails and bad on highway use cause the tread doesnt hold up well. but over all the tires are sick in deep mu dig great and will sling some mud, i have a 1993 300 fourtrax and no lift and no rub.
